1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Leo, an AI-powered autonomous coworker service operated by Appmetric Software Pvt Ltd ("Appmetric," "we," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service, including all content, features, and functionality delivered through our platform and Slack integration. By installing the Leo Slack app, registering an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. The Service is not intended for individuals below this age threshold.
2. Description of the Service
Leo is an autonomous AI coworker built to help teams and businesses streamline their operations. Leo connects to your Slack workspace and integrates with your business tools to assist with everyday tasks, research, reporting, and workflow automation. The core aspects of the Service include:
- Slack Integration: The Service connects to Slack using Slack's OAuth 2.0 protocol and APIs. By adding Leo to your Slack workspace, you authorize us to access and process messages, channels, and conversations where Leo is mentioned or invited, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
- AI-Powered Task Execution: The Service leverages advanced AI systems (including third-party AI providers) to analyze conversations, perform research, produce reports, draft documents, generate recommendations, and carry out autonomous tasks at your direction.
- Third-Party Tool Connections: Leo can connect to a wide range of third-party platforms and business tools to extend its functionality. Each connection requires your explicit authorization through OAuth or API credentials and is subject to the respective platform's own terms of service. Integrations enabled in Leo are shared across your workspace by design, meaning authorized workspace members may use those integrations and their associated capabilities through Leo, and actions may execute using the connected account's permissions.
- Autonomous Operations: Leo operates autonomously, running scheduled tasks, monitoring Slack channels, and proactively generating reports and suggestions. Depending on your workspace configuration (including shared integrations, automation rules, and approval settings), certain actions may execute without per-action human review, while others may require explicit approval from authorized users before proceeding.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use Leo, you must install our Slack app in your workspace and optionally connect additional business tools. In registering for and using the Service, you agree to the following:
- Workspace Admin Authorization: You represent that you hold the necessary authority to install Slack applications in your workspace and to grant Leo the permissions it requests during setup.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the security of your Slack workspace and any connected third-party accounts. If you use OAuth or API keys to link external services, you must keep those credentials secure.
- Shared Integration Responsibility: When you connect an integration through Leo, you represent that you are authorized by your organization (and, where applicable, by the relevant third-party account holder) to do so. Because integrations are shared at the workspace level, you are accountable for the granted scopes, account-level permissions, and the resulting access to data and actions available to your workspace through Leo.
- Responsibility for Usage: You are responsible for all activities that take place through Leo in your workspace, including actions performed by the AI on your behalf after receiving approval. If you notice any unauthorized activity, you must notify us immediately at abhishek@pulsecrew.ai.
- Authorized Users: You agree to ensure that only authorized team members interact with Leo for business purposes. You are responsible for your team's compliance with these Terms.
4. User Permissions and Data Access
By connecting Leo to your Slack workspace and business tools, you grant Appmetric the rights and permissions necessary to access and process data on your behalf:
- Slack OAuth Consent: You acknowledge that the Service uses OAuth authentication to request access to your Slack workspace. During installation, Slack will present a consent screen detailing the permissions we request (such as reading messages in channels where Leo is invited, posting messages, uploading files, and accessing user information). By granting consent, you authorize us to use those permissions to deliver the Service. You may uninstall Leo from your workspace at any time via Slack's App Management settings.
- Third-Party Platform Access: When you connect external tools and platforms, you authorize us to access your account data as permitted by each platform's authentication mechanism. The specific data accessed depends on the integration and the permissions you grant.
- Scope of Data Access: With your permission, Leo will read and respond to messages in Slack channels where it is invited, process direct messages sent to it, access connected platform data to carry out requested tasks and generate insights, and execute approved actions on connected platforms. Since integrations are shared at the workspace level, authorized members may invoke those integrations through Leo.
- Use of Data: Any data obtained from your Slack workspace or connected platforms will be used strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond providing and supporting the Service (including security, reliability, billing, and service communications). We do not sell your data for monetary consideration.
5. Approval Mechanisms and Autonomous Actions
Leo operates with varying degrees of autonomy. You acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Low-Risk Actions: Leo may autonomously carry out read-only operations, conduct research, produce reports, draft documents, and communicate through Slack without requiring explicit approval. It may also execute other actions that you have configured as pre-authorized.
- High-Risk Actions: Actions that modify external systems or carry significant business impact may require explicit approval through Slack's interactive approval buttons before Leo proceeds.
- Pre-Authorized Actions and Policies: If you enable auto-approve settings, recurring workflows, shared integration permissions, or similar configuration controls, you authorize Leo to execute covered actions without per-action human approval.
- Approval Authority: You are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel can view and respond to action requests, including by maintaining appropriate Slack channel and thread access controls. An approval given through Leo's Slack approval flow by a user with access to the request constitutes authorization to proceed.
- Execution Responsibility: Once you approve an action, or once an action is permitted by your pre-authorization settings, Leo will attempt to carry it out. You acknowledge that you bear ultimate responsibility for the consequences of approved or pre-authorized actions.
- Control and Revocation: You are responsible for promptly updating or revoking approvals, integration connections, permissions, and workflow settings whenever personnel, roles, or business needs change.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
We are committed to ensuring the Service is used in a safe and lawful manner. By using Leo, you agree that you will NOT:
- Illegal Activities: Use the Service for any unlawful, illegal, or fraudulent purpose.
- Rights Infringement: Use the Service to infringe upon or misappropriate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of any person or entity.
- Export Controls and Sanctions: Use the Service in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, or trade laws, or by or for any restricted person or entity.
- Platform Policy Violations: Use the Service in ways that breach the terms of service of Slack or any other connected platform.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data associated with the Service or connected platforms.
- Harmful or Deceptive Use: Use the Service to produce content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or that promotes hate, violence, or illegal activities.
- Phishing, Malware, and Impersonation: Use the Service to create or distribute phishing content, malware, harmful code, or deceptive impersonations.
- Service Interference: Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service, including by introducing harmful code, abusing automation, scraping beyond intended use, or placing unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Spam and Abuse: Use the Service to send unsolicited messages, spam, or to abuse any connected systems.
- Circumvention: Attempt to bypass or circumvent any usage limits, approval mechanisms, or security features we have implemented.
- High-Risk Use Cases: Use the Service for weapons development, unlawful surveillance, or in high-risk contexts where failure could reasonably cause death, personal injury, or severe physical, environmental, or property damage.
Violating this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Service and could expose you to legal liability.
We may investigate suspected violations, suspend or terminate access, and cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where appropriate.
7. Data Handling and Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that Appmetric will collect, use, and process your data as described in our Privacy Policy (which is incorporated into these Terms by reference). Key points include:
- Slack Data: When you connect Leo to your Slack workspace, we access messages, conversation history, and workspace context to enable AI processing and deliver the Service.
- Connected Platform Data: Data from connected platforms is accessed to perform requested tasks and may be cached to support Service functionality.
- AI Processing: You understand that content from your Slack conversations and connected platforms will be processed by automated AI systems, including third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic and Google). We ensure these providers are bound by strict obligations to protect your data and are prohibited from using it to train their general-purpose models.
- Workspace Files: Leo creates and maintains internal workspace files (including logs, reports, and context documents) to support its operations. These are stored within our secure infrastructure.
- Data Removal: You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@pulsecrew.com. Uninstalling the Slack app, revoking access, or disconnecting integrations stops new data collection from those sources but does not by itself delete previously stored data. If your account is deleted or closed, or we receive a verified deletion request, we remove previously stored data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retention timelines.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, software, algorithms, and materials that make up the Service are the property of Appmetric or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- License to You: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service's code or content. You may not reverse engineer or decompile any technology associated with the Service.
- Your Content: You retain ownership of your business data, Slack messages, and any other data you provide. By using the Service, you grant Appmetric a limited license to use that content as necessary to deliver the Service.
- AI-Generated Content: Reports, documents, and other content produced by Leo are provided as work product for your use. You are free to use AI-generated content for your business purposes.
- Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions regarding the Service, you agree that we may use such feedback freely without any obligation to compensate you.
9. AI Content and Disclaimers
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content, reports, and recommendations. It is important that you understand the following:
- AI-Generated Content May Be Imperfect: AI is not infallible. Content produced by Leo may occasionally be incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or inappropriate. The AI may misinterpret context, provide erroneous recommendations, or generate inaccurate information. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it or using it to make business decisions.
- No Professional Advice: Suggestions, reports, and recommendations produced by the Service should not be treated as professional legal, financial, tax, medical, or other specialized advice. Always exercise your own professional judgment and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.
- User Responsibility: You acknowledge that you are ultimately responsible for all business decisions and actions taken based on Leo's output.
- No Guaranteed Human Review: You understand that autonomous tasks and configured pre-authorized workflows may execute without real-time human oversight.
- Platform Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that any actions carried out through Leo comply with the policies of connected platforms and all applicable laws.
10. Pricing and Paid Features
Current Pricing: The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans. You may try Leo without payment during the free tier or trial period.
Future Changes: Appmetric reserves the right to modify pricing, introduce new subscription tiers, premium features, or usage-based pricing at any time. If we make changes that affect your current plan, we will provide at least 30 days advance notice via Slack message to your workspace administrators and/or email.
If You Subscribe to a Paid Plan: The following terms apply:
- Payment: All fees will be in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified. You authorize Appmetric (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method for applicable fees and taxes.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance according to the billing cycle you select.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

11. Termination of Service
By You: You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Leo Slack app from your workspace and disconnecting all integrations. This stops future data collection from those sources. If your account is deleted or closed, or we receive a verified deletion request, we remove previously stored data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retention timelines. You can also contact us at privacy@pulsecrew.com to request deletion.
By Us: Appmetric reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe that: (a) you have violated these Terms, (b) you pose a security, legal, or business risk to the Service or other users, or (c) we decide to discontinue the Service. We may also limit or disable specific integrations, features, or workspaces where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or risk mitigation.
Effects of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access or use the Service will immediately cease. We may deactivate your workspace connection and delete associated data. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as indemnification, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
12. Disclaimers of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appmetric Software Pvt Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In no event will Appmetric's total cumulative liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the amount you have paid to us for the Service in the preceding twelve (12) months (or, if you have not paid us, $0).
We are specifically not liable for:
- Actions taken by the AI on connected platforms
- Business decisions made based on AI recommendations
- Any consequences of approved or pre-authorized actions
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

If the dispute remains unresolved, arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended) of India. The seat of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, India. Arbitration proceedings may be conducted remotely unless the parties agree otherwise.
